Hi, I’m Madison Klie
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health from Carleton University.
My professional journey has taken me to diverse settings, including mental health placements in Bali, Indonesia, and Tanzania, Africa, as well as roles as a direct support worker with adults in group homes and children in educational settings for neurodivergent learners. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the emotional, relational, and sensory needs of individuals across the lifespan, and shaped a culturally responsive, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed lens in my work.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based, emotion-focused, and relational therapies. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Polyvagal Theory, and behaviour-based strategies to support your healing process. I have also completed Level 1 Gottman Method training, which I draw on in my work with couples.
I believe healing happens in the context of connection. Above all, I approach this work with humility, care, and a deep belief in the power of relationship. I strive to offer a space that feels safe, attuned, and collaborative, where all parts of your experience are welcome, and your emotions are met with compassion.
