Hi, I’m Madison Klie

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health from Carleton University.

My work has taken me across a range of settings, including mental health placements in Bali and Tanzania, as well as supporting adults in group homes and children in educational settings for neurodivergent learners. These experiences continue to inform a culturally responsive, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approach to my work.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in relationship patterns, or disconnected from themselves or others. In therapy, we work together to make sense of these experiences, understand the patterns shaping them, and explore new ways of relating with greater clarity and self-compassion.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and tailored to your needs. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), polyvagal-informed work, and behaviour-based strategies. I have also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method, which informs my work with couples.

Above all, my hope is to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and explore what’s coming up for you without pressure or judgment. I bring a calm, grounded presence to this work and approach each client with care, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.
